A really beautiful Gothic sanctuary usually populated by a truly diverse sort of folks. Once called the church of "hoboes and homo's", Christ Church is rapidly emerging as the "best choice" for the new, hip downtown loft dwellers and city office workers. The Wednesday Morning (7 AM!) Holy Eucharist especially appeals to the latter. A new dynamic is emerging in the City and Christ Church is centered both geographically and philosophically to grow along with that dynamic. A visit is worth the time and effort if only for the architecture.
