Concordia Lutheran Church

My husband and I had been looking for a new church for nearly two years. We were in search of deeper, more meaningful worship that spoke to the intellect and the heart. We visited many churches where the worship was stripped away to make it more "accessible" to people. What it did for us was to leave us spiritually starving in the pew. This was one of the reasons we left our prior church, so this hunger was building over time.
We are now at Concordia Lutheran in Maplewood, MO(St. Louis). In just a few short weeks I am seeing real change in my life simply from finding some spiritual nourishment. I am truly being renewed each week and it is affecting all of my life - personal, family, relationships, work. I didn't know how hungry I had become.
I am so grateful to be able to come to God in worship with a body of believers after my long drought.
If you decide to visit, please ask someone to point me out. I'd love to meet you. I am still new, so if they don't know me tell them I'm the one who plays the trumpet. That should do it.
Thanks, Deborah
