My children and I love this Church. Brother Johnny is a dynamic speaker, and always has a wonderful sermon. The children's church is equally wonderful. My children bug me if we aren't able to get to church one Sunday. From the first time we walked into Fairmount General Baptist Church, we felt like we were home. We were guests once, then part of the church family from then on.

My husband Dean and I were searching for a church that believed in the full teaching of the bible. The first time we visited Fairmount, when entering the church the spirit of God was so strong, the people so friendly and sincere; we knew God had sent us there. We have been serving our Lord there since Jan. 2005. We have been truly blessed many times over by our decision.

Wonderful, spirit filled worship that truly brings Brothers and Sisters together as family. The church works together to do our best to spread the Good News throughout our community and beyond.

I visited this church while searching for a home church and found friendship, love, general concern for others and a church full of people who sincerely love the Lord. The congregation and staff in this church are sincere, and I never felt like a stranger nor an outsider from the first day I entered Fairmount as a visitor. The fellowship is real and the sincerity and desire to reach out to others was what I had been looking for. Now, as a member of Fairmount, I feel as if I have "come home" where I "fit in" and I know that the Lord led me to this church.
