St Louis Family Church

St. Louis Family Church is a church where you will feel welcome, right at the start. Pastor Perry's messages are always thought provoking and full of God's Word. It truly is a family church where you will feel like you have found a family...come experience it!

I have read many of the reviews on here and I will have to say the negative ones are simply not true. I started going in 1991. I have received many, many miracles in my life here at this church because people prayed with me. I LOVE this church!! I am thankful God called Pastor Jeff & Patsy into this ministry. They are truly wonderful people. There hasn't been a service that I haven't been blessed in yet. My son is a teenager and he told his friend about the church and now his friend comes every week. I have told many people about this church and they LOVE it too, young and old. I don't know who some of you are here that gave reviews here but I just pray that God heals your hearts. I had a dream that God was about to bless this church and expand it beyond belief. I feel that those who received something less than what God wanted to do that time you visited or attended service was that the devil fed your fleshly thoughts and discouraged you that night. I guarantee if you had come to get me to pray with you, I would have done it! I hope that by reading this you know that in all sincerity that God does Love you and no matter what church you attend that GOD does want you to be saved and inspired to preach his word. May God Bless each one of you reading this note and may you find peace and prosperity in your lives. Give this church a chance. Volunteer your time in this church. If you see an area that isn't right, then do what you can to make it better! Pray!

Our family has been attending St. Louis Family Church for 17 years. Honoring God and helping people has been the major focus of Pastor Jeff since we have known him. He has faithfully preached the word of God to us even in the midst of hard times such as in 1993 when our church was devastated by the flood. He and his wife, Patsy, have led by example turning tragedy into helping people first in the Chesterfield Valley and then troughout the world. Our family personally have been on relief trips to Kosovo, Africa, Sri Lanka, Florida, Louisiana, and Mississippi. Our children have grown up in an environment of stability and a solid assuredness of right and wrong. I would never trade in the years that we have spent in this church, and I look forward to the years ahead!

WE LOVE ST.LOUS FAMILY CHURCH AND PASTOR JEFF & PATSY!!!! He married my husband and I, 20 1/2 years ago, and we have attended the church since it has started. Our children are 18 and 16, and they love Jesus, His Word and prayer. There is no perfect church, or perfect people in a church, but to us, this one is very close!!! The pastors, staff, and members of this church TRUELY LOVE PEOPLE and want to see them grow in God, his Word and His Power!! There are many ministries to hook up with in the church and awesome activities to be involved in. Our children are always at church, learning and loving people. If you want your life to make a difference in this world, I suggest checking us out. Yes, we love to have fun in church, Pastor Jeff makes us laugh, cry, pray long and hard, and encourages us to press on in life . We are making a difference in a lost and hurting world. WE LOVE THIS CHURCH!!!! AND JESUS!!!!!

I attend SLFC. The negative reviews are completely false. The writers obviously have some kind of ax to grind. I noticed the one about "run off people with a calling" was also on the Life Christian Center site. What do they do--hop around from church to church asking them to help them start a new ministry? I can see why the churches would not do that if they don't know that person. SLFC is a wonderful place. The Word is preached and people are being saved. Yes, Pastor Jeff uses humor when appropriate, but he also quotes more Bible verses than just about any one else I've heard. The pastor's wife is just about the sweetest, kindest lady in the world and not at all as described. The pastors are all warm and caring. The review about not praying with people is wrong--there is always a pastor available to pray with people. What is this about loving the rich? They love everyone and have funneled millions of dollars to the poor in disaster relief all over the country and the world. Not that I would object to it, but I have not seen any dancing there except for the youth band bobbing up and down. The message at SLFC is all about all of us having God's purposes and callings on our lives. They never put down other ministries, but pray for all "life-giving" churches in St. Louis.

Most of the focus of St. Louis Family Church is upon themselves and money. The time I went there, I enountered a group of lesbians and many, many people who saw nothing wrong with living together, men and women in fornication before they were married. This church is full of worldly "wannabes". The Pastor's "sermon" was an hour long comedy routine with no focus. They know how to dance and have a good time! And their "prophesys"-so-called-were nothing more than what Jeremiah spoke of about the people only wanting to hear good things. Sin seems to be a dirty word there and the word blessing is used again and again. Satan is not threatened by them. The Pastor's sermons are cotton candy at best and dangerous at worst. Members can sit in their expensive chairs and hear how wonderful they are and how much they will be blessed and how they can speak what they want into being. They are, in fact, worshiping themelves.

I would not recommend this church to anyone who is interested in growing in the Lord. I attended this church fairly regularly for about 2 years and was disturbed by many things. One minor incident was; I was going through an extreme depression at the time. A few times at the service, I was crying uncontrollably. How I needed just someone to hug me or come and pray with me. The Pastor's wife walked by with her head arrogantly up in the air and then walked around very dramatic praying "for the service", the Pastor told us later. She is cold and he picks one verse out of God's Holy Word and does and comedy routine for the next hour. They love the rich ones. They love blessings. What they don't love is anyone preaching to them about sin. No problem there. The Pastor doesn't seem to like that word either. He caters to everyone. He is interested in numbers in his church and hence, it seems, the money those numbers will bring. Very turned off by that place. Go to real, Bible-believing and Bible-obeying chruch. So, I would not recommend this one.
