In 1999, Senior Pastor Willie E. Kilpatrick launched his God-given vision and the membership embraced the challenge of becoming “A Church of Prayer, A Church with Power, A Church of Praise and A Church with a Purpose". Under his leadership the Prince of Peace Church has grown from 200 to over 2,000 members and continues to reach the community through the "Purpose Driven Church" ministry paradigm. His vision has not only caused the church membership to increase exponentially, but outreach ministries have gained respect throughout the St. Louis Metropolitan area. The Prince of Peace Church is a place where you will Experience Great Church! The worship experience is absolutely electrifying and the congregation and the community benefits from a church that reaches outside the walls of its church to be a blessing to others. The church brings together the down-and-out, the homeless and released offender to sit beside the Pastor and everyone from all different ages and stages of life. They worship and serve together in one or more of the 32 different ministries within the church, including college student ministry, homeless outreach, a phenomenal youth and children’s program, fresh start (those facing addictions or set-backs in life) and the list goes on and on. Prince of Peace Church is a family oriented congregation where we strive to have healthy families, healthy marriages, healthy children, healthy youth, healthy women and healthy men by putting our “Families First”. We live by one of the many great visions of our Senior Pastor Kilpatrick who stated our church should be a place of ministry, not merely a place of gathering.
