Saint Trinity Lutheran Church - Missouri Synod

  • Saint Trinity Lutheran Church - Missouri Synod
Saint Trinity Lutheran Church is a small, friendly, older congregation that was founded in 1859 by truck farmers in what was Carondelet, Missouri at the time. Currently, A lesson study (brief Bible study of the readings of the day) is held at 9:00 A.M.. and worship is held at 10 A.M. on Sundays in their historic second sanctuary built in 1872. The sanctuary is served by a Kilgen 22 rank pipe organ installed in 1903. Saturday evening services are held at the parish hall at 517 W Koeln Ave at 5:30 P.M. Twice a month. The services are traditional with hint of contemporary. Besides worshiping in an historic building, the congregation actively strives to help the neighborhood by co supporting a food pantry with St. Stephens Catholic Church at Saint Trinity's parish hall at 517 W. Kolen Ave. The food pantry is open 3 days a week. In addition, breakfast is served once per month for the neighborhood at the parish hall free of charge...normally on the 4th Saturday of the month at 9:00 A.M.. The congregation also employs a parish nurse to help members and neighborhood folks maintain their health. Currently the congregation is also involved with some building rennovation and is seeking individuals with an interest and skill in that regard to help with plaster repair, painting, and tuckpointing. Any help is greatly appreciated! Please call the congregation at 314.353.3276 for additional details.
